Planning on attending this year’s Youmacon? Here’s what you need to know about convention registration. Remember, attendees traveling from outside the United States are now required to bring a passport or enhanced drivers’ license to enter the country.

Parental Consent Form

Unattended minors 18 and under must have our Parental Consent form filled out by their legal guardians to be allowed to attend Youmacon. Forms are available here.

Where to pick up Badges:

Badges can be picked up at Registration inside the TCF Center – 2nd Floor – Oakland Hall D

Three Types of Badges:

A Three-Day Badge (weekend) will get you into all general events for the entirety of this year’s convention. Three-day badges are available for purchase both online and at-the-door.

A One-Day Badge (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) will get you into all general events for the day purchased. One-Day badges may only be purchased at-the-door.

A Platinum Badge has all of the benefits of a Three-Day, with these extra perks:

  • Priority “Premium Only” line to pick up your badge (find a crew member to be directed to the line)
  • Priority positioning for the first 20 minutes in all autograph lines
  • Priority positioning for Main Events
  • A 2019 Youmacon T-Shirt
  • Admittance into either the Maid Cafe, Charity Ball, or entrance into one (1) video game tournament
  • The Dealers’ Room will be open 30 minutes early each day for Platinum Attendees

Platinum badges are limited to 500 for the event, and are only available for purchase online.



At-the-door Registration

The at the door registration prices will be as follows:

  • Three Day: $70
  • Friday $40
  • Saturday: $50
  • Sunday: $30

For those of you new to Youmacon we would like to inform you it is best to arrive early for the convention. Though we are always working on making registration as quick and painless as possible; lines do get long. Please take this into consideration when planning your arrival time.

At the door registration: We accept Cash and Card

Credit Sales

  • Credit sales will be available for all badge types over the course of the event.
  • Credit sales are subjected to additional fees.
  • Credit sales and cash sales share the same line for registration.

*Lines will be cut off prior to closing in order to maintain department hours. Line cut off is dependent on the amount of traffic near the time of closing. Attendees may continue to stand in line if they choose, until the closing time, as more will be allowed to enter if the line, before the cut off, is handled before closing time.

*As part of our 15 year anniversary we are expanding at-door sales for weekend badges by offering them on Thursday. Credit/Debit card sales only.

Online Pre-Registration

Online pre-registration for Youmacon 2019 has closed. At-the-door registration will be available beginning Friday at 12pm. Remember – Thursday’s events and activities are free and require no registration or badge.

Badge Pick-Up

Badge pick-up for prepaid and at-the-door passes will be located inside the TCF Center – 2nd Floor – Oakland Hall D.

Child Registrations

Each registered adult is entitled to a free registration for one child age 12 or under and up to four $10.00 registrations for additional children 12 and under. Child registrations are processed and paid for at-con for both pre-registered attendees and those registering at the con. No children age 12 or under may attend the convention without the supervision of an adult.

Badge Upgrades

Badge upgrades are not currently available.

Badge Refunds

Refunds may be requested up to 14 calendar days from purchase. To request a refund, please submit a refund request through Eventbrite.
